Perhaps, the film won Rajnikanth the title of 'Superstar' and now Sundar C gears up for its remake in the lead role. Sneha takes on the female lead while Suman on the role enacted by Jai Shankar performs negative role and Vivek on the role of Suruli Rajan is the comedian. Srikanth Deva tunes in melodies and probably there would be remix of 'Podhuvaaga En Manasu Thangam'. Gunanidhi who produced yesteryear films like Madurai Meenakshi and Manasu Rendum Pudhusu gets backs into film industry with the production of this remake. Shooting for the film is expected to hit the floors by December and plans are to release it by mid of Aprilu
