The audio release function of the Billa film in which Ajith had acted took place in the Super Star Rajinikanth's house. There were a very few invitee who attended the function. The video shops in Tamil Nadu soon expect that the audio might bring them good sales, but to their disappointment not even a single CD of the film distributed in big shops.

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

( by Mrs Karpagam N.Thyagarajan) Playback Singer Mano who has been in the field of music for over 25 years and lent his voice in 20,000 songs in all languages is turning as music director through the Telugu film Somberi. Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs". When coming to know about Mano's interest in music direction, many more producers have come forward to music direct for their films and Mano has entered into agreement for music directing three Telugu films. "I want compose for Tamil film songs too. When this Telugu film's cassette is released, I hope I may be able to get chances in Tamil" says Mano
