Malayalam films' Indrajith is introduced in Kandasamy as the villain who fights equally with Vikram. Indrajith brother Prithiviraj is also an actor who had done a lot of Malayalam films like his father Sugumaran who has been a hero. When talking to news men Indrajith said that he adores the challenging role of the villain in Kandasamy and expected that there would be many more openings in Tamil films after its release.

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs". When coming to know about Mano's interest in music direction, many more producers have come forward to music direct for their films and Mano has entered into agreement for music directing three Telugu films. "I want compose for Tamil film songs too. When this Telugu film's cassette is released, I hope I may be able to get chances in Tamil" says Mano
