World famous Music Director A.R.Rahman is all set to receive the most prestigious award of his life. He will be presented with a lifetime achievement award by the International Indian Film Academy(IIFA). The award will be presented to Rahman on June 6th at a glittering function to be held at Bangkok.
The award is being presented to Rahman for his immense contribution to promote Indian Film Music abroad and for also making a mark in the International arena.The function will be attended by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan among others

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs". When coming to know about Mano's interest in music direction, many more producers have come forward to music direct for their films and Mano has entered into agreement for music directing three Telugu films. "I want compose for Tamil film songs too. When this Telugu film's cassette is released, I hope I may be able to get chances in Tamil" says Mano
