'VEYIL' PRIYANKA ENTERED WED LOCK

 Actress Priyanka got married to her long-time lover and director Lawrence Ram on Wednesday (23rd May).  Priyanka debuted as an actress in the Vasanthabalan-directed Veyil which also had Bharath and Pasupathy in lead roles.  Priyanka paired up opposite Pasupathy in the film and also featured in the hugely popular Urugudhae song.
She then went on to star in many Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.  Though she wasn’t able to shine in Tamil films, she won the ‘best actress’ award from the Govt. of Kerala for her character in the Malayalam film Vilabangalukku Appuram.  In between her professional commitments, she had  fall in love with Lawrence Ram, a director.
The couple has been in love for the past couple of years.  The parents of both Priyanka and Ram opposed the marriage at the beginning and then relented and gave the nod for the marriage.  The marriage was formally solemnized as per Hindu rituals at the famous Aatrukkaal Bagavathy Amman Temple at Thiruvananthapuram.  Only the parents of the couple and their few close relatives took part in the marriage.

Priyanka said after her marriage: “At last, I have married a person whom I love and who is so close to my heart.  He hasn’t said no to continue to star in films even after marriage.  I shall, however, pick and choose my roles in films from now onwards.  At present I have signed in 2 malayalam films".

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs". When coming to know about Mano's interest in music direction, many more producers have come forward to music direct for their films and Mano has entered into agreement for music directing three Telugu films.
