SACHU'S HOUSE BURGLED

Burglars broke open the steel-almirah of the house of veteran comedian actress Kumari Sachu and decamped with at least 40 sovereigns of gold and a cash of Rs.50,000.

The actress who is a close friend of the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalithaa, noticed the theft only on Thursday after she returned home, said police sources.

The actress is the chairperson of the Iyal Isai Nataka Mandram.

Further investigations are on, and it is said the maid-servant of the actress was found missing, since the burglary took place.

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs". When coming to know about Mano's interest in music direction, many more producers have come forward to music direct for their films and Mano has entered into agreement for music directing three Telugu films.
