More than 10,000 cinema halls in world to release Rajini's 2.O film

The latest news about Superstar Rajinikanth starrer 2.O film is that the film will be released in more than 10,000 cinema halls throughout the world.

After the successful run of the Rajini Starrer "Enthiran", the Director and Producer Shankar wanted to make another film with the Superstar and began the shootings two years ago. Luckily, the shooting and dubbing work including the rerecording work were over.

At a function held recently in Chennai Sathyam Theater, the Director and Producer Shankar released the second teaser of the film, but had kept secretly the date on which the film will be released.

More than Rs 600 crore was spent to produce the film. In the function, the Superstar said that he had acted in the film by wearing an apron weighing more than 16 kilograms. He also said, he had felt the discomfiture during the shooting and wanted to quit the acting in the film. However, the Director Shankar had asked him to take his own time to complete the film, as the Director knew well, that the roles could be done only by the Superstar and the speed in acting which could be done only by Rajini alone.
Rajinikanth at the function on the stage had whole-heartedly thanked the producer, director and other workers who had worked with him to complete the film.

Suddenly, the announcement came that the film will be released on November 29th and when lakhs of Rajini fans keeping their fingers crossed about it, the production company announced that the film will be released in more than 10,000 cinema halls.

The countdown for the release of the film has begun and fans of Rajini throughout Indian and abroad are eagerly waiting to enjoy the film.

Another latest news was that Rajini-starrer "Pettai" will be released in January next year as a gift for Pongal to the people of Tamil Nadu.
