50th IFFI to screen more than 200 films

Chennai, Oct 19:

At the 50th International Film Festival of India jointly organised by the Union Ministry Information and Broadcasting with the Entertainment Society of Goa, more than 200 films will be screened. The IFFI will be held for 10 days,in which producers, film artistes of all vernaculars, including media and press persons are taken by the organisers..

Additional Director General of the Film Festival Chaitanya who was here recently said that the films that a re to be screened in the film festival will be given awards by the juries appointed by the Oscar Award.

The IFFI has planned to organise more meetings in all the states to invite producers, actors, including media persons by organising meetings, Chaitanya said.

SINGER MANO BECOMES MUSIC DIRECTOR

Sorna Nithula, a lyricist, is directing the film. Says Mano, " Any one can understand the lines of the lyrics in my music direction. I won't allow the music overlap the lines of songs".
