Bigil has story-value with Vijay's thrilling action

( By N.Thyagarajan) Chennai, Nov 13: On the last Deepavali Day, when people with merry in bursting crackers,  me and all other family members very near to a cinema-hall wished to watch  Vijay-starrer film Bigil, with the hope that we would make an easy cake-walk inside the theater, which is very closely to our next compound. We all became sad that the ticket counter was closed, and someone outside the cinema-hall said that the show began already and the people from different areas have been watching the film. I took  what the stranger told me was false, but the sound of the actor's fans from inside the theater were in raptures clapping and whisteling and watching the film, I sensed. Truly, after several days I alone watched the film in the very same theater and found that along with the fans' of Vijay, several sports persons, including football players had been watching the film. Bigil crosses Rs 200 crore ticket sales collection

Chennai, Nov 11: Vijay starrer Bigil which was released for the Deepavali, has been made a huge collection of Rs 200 crores since the day one of the release, said a film distributor and added that in Chennai alone, the film had made a total collection of Rs 15 crore, challenging to other films' in the ticket sales. Bigil has been successfully running in Kerala and Andhra Pradesh states has exceeded the collection target and this was because mainly, that the Karthi-starrer film Kaidhi and Vijay's Bigil alone were released during the Deepavali, and the people who are fans of both the actors, have been visiting the theaters to watch both the films repeatedly as the other films of Rajinikanth and Ajay will be released during January for the Pongal festival. Though the Kaidhi film has made less ticket sales collection in the first few days, it had also started making huge collections, as the days went by, said the distributor.

Miss Karnataka to act with Comedian Santhanam

Chennai: Comedian Santhanam is a pairing with two heroines for a film being shot at the Ramoji Rao Studios in Hyderabad. According to sources, the shooting  of the film will be taking for 60 days, in which Tara Alisha Perri and Swathy Muppala, are acting in the film. Swathy Muppala very recently won the Miss Karnataka award. According to story-line of the film,  the sources said that the film is a full-length comedy, in which Santhanam settles his choices between the two heroines. Anand Raj, Mottai Rajendran, Bharath Reddy, Dance Master Sivasankar are acting in the film. According to sources, the film is to be released next year February, after the Pongal festival.
